Some camaro love from Forza 3

Post by DJ Lime on Mon Mar 15, 2010 7:59 am

Well I been wanting to do this for awhile but been alittle busy with school, and my injury I had. But I haven't showed you guys what camaros are in Forza 3. So I'll update this post when ever I get pictures of the camaro's in the game, and 1's I've made.

    It has the....

1969 Camaro SS (1 of the rarest in the game, and worth millions)
    1969 Camaro Z28 (with a gay softtop)
    1979 Camaro Z28
    1990 Camaro IROC-Z
    2002 Camaro 35th Anniversary SS
    2010 Camaro SS

    .

Got a few action shots with the 5 camaros since its 1 in a million to get those 1969 SS versions.

    .

Also Action shots of the Hurst Edition Camaro, and the stock SS version. On 1 of the pictures I noticed my Hurst logo is backwards, and dont know how that happen LOL. But I fixed it after the action shots.

    .

    .

    2010 Chevy Camaro SS

    .

    1979 Chevy Camaro Z28

    .

    1990 Chevy Camaro IROC-Z

    .

    1969 Chevy Camaro Z28

    .

    2002 Camaro 35th Anniversary SS

    .

    .

Well I finish the Hurst Camaro finally after months of messing around with it, and decided to finally finish it

    Before:

    After:

Finished the Hankook camaro which stopped because I didn't want to make anymore custom fonts at the time. But it's finished now. Which makes me happy now.

Took 993 vinyl layers on the side of the car which is amazing I fit it all.

Awesome man, I'm sure you'll do the Camaro and the Club proud and can't wait to see it!!! sly party

Where the heck is the early second gen '70-'73? Evil or Very Mad Seems like they've covered most of the bases but man its frustrating when one of the most popular year ranges of Camaro is not in hardly any games...It's really starting to PISS ME OFF!!! (would insert a smilie but not one of these shows how pissed I really am) Evil or Very Mad

You know guys I completey forgot the rarest camaro in the game that you can't buy in the dealership. The 1969 Camaro SS. It's 1 of the rarest cars in the game what we forza people call them (Unicorn car's) There's 3 unicorn car that Turn10studios only put up on the auction house random times. There's the 1969 Camaro SS, Subaru S204, and Mazda rx7 Spirit R.

Only about 60 people has got the Camaro SS since forza 3 was out. Only seen 2 people have them when I was in a online room.

    .

Also update on the first post. Added few action shots with the 5 camaros since its 1 in a million to get those 1969 SS versions, added 1979 Z28 camaro, and finished my Hurst edition of the Camaro with action shots also.

Never know they could add 1 in the car packs this year. they already had 4 car packs, and 1 track pack already, and had some nice cars in them. Got them all, and some of those cars in the car packs are very pricey to some people.

Dammit! Ok, we'll give you guys GT5 if you give us Forza3. LOL

    Great pics DJ!!!

My sister just bought a new XBL, so maybe, just maybe, if she gives it to me, I might take the old one and try to fix it...JUST for Forza. Smile

@ DJ - Yeah, that's true I guess. I'm so frustrated overall that IMO the '70 style Camaro didn't get even near as much recognition as it should have because everybodies so brainwashed that the '69 is the BEST and IMO stole way too much attention away from the beatiful '70-'73 Camaro. Well, I don't think its the best but I think its just as good, just different. I even did an experiment once with everyone that new my car (the '71) with a plea for everyone to be as honest as possible about the comparison and that I wouldn't be the least bit offended whatever the results. The results were unanomous that after being around my car enough and comparing apples to apples (same paint, rims, etc. of the cars) that they liked the '70 body style just as much or more than the '69. I can't even honestly say myself that I like the '70 body style better than the '69 because I do like the '69 alot but there is no doubt in my mind that many people are brainwashed by the media and games. Sorry don't want to get off topic or jack your thread, just had to say it. tongue

I'm going to post a thread in the near future with more details about my experiment so if you have any comments to this one please wait to post it on the other thread. This thread is DJ's and needs to remain his please. Neutral

@ Jade - Yeah, I'm just waiting to get my PS3 fixed then I'm also going to try to get a broken XBox and fix it for Forza3 also but I'm afraid for you and me Jade that we'll get too addicted to it if we touch it...LOL! Smile

Oh, and DJ, great hurstmobile and I can't get enough of this pic: party

Ok, according to my sister, the only thing wrong with her old XB is the disc drive won't read discs. And she tells me that Forza3 is available for download, so I wouldn't need the disc. If this is true, she told she'd give it to me for like $25. Since that's like half the price of Forza, I just might be eating some crow and owning an XB. moodman LOL

I'm going to hook it up later tonite and see what's what. Now if I can just find a PS styled controller for it, because I can't stand the XB controller. <--- personal taste

Any suggestions DJ? Or any other XB'ers?

Oh, and is MCLA available for download?

Well for 1 if you just getting it for Forza, and MCLA... MCLA is up for D/L on games on demand for $29.99. Then 1000 Microsoft points to buy the South Central Ultimate content pack to get all the cars, and that.

and for forza it isnt on games on demand to d/l from marketplace so you need to have that workable disc tray. But you can D/L the VIP edition now on marketplace because all d/l's will help the Haiti victims. So thats what you was thinking when you said D/L forza off xbox. Well you can D/L the VIP limited edition stuff but not the full game.

    .

Also good luck finding a ps3 look alike controller for xbox lol...

I figured they would of made some kind of adaptor by now but it just wouldn't be right useing a Xbox controller on a PS3 or a PS3 controller on a Xbox 360. bounce

    .

Also thanks. Well the I only got 2 camaros out of the 6 (2010 SS, and 1990 IROC-Z) that I use for drifting for leaderboard use. I don't want to buy all of them because I just dont feel like filling my garage up even more because I have 161 cars already. Garage worth is $104million with $13million with upgrades on 1/2 of them. I just love making money, and don't have to do anything haha.

    .

Also update on first post. Added 2 more action shots of the 1969 Camaro Z28. Then added car pictures of the 1969 Camaro Z28, and the 1990 Camaro IROC-Z.

I'll look into the adapter thing, but does it then make it wired?

And I just can't stand the offset analog sticks on the 360 controller. Plus it's way to bulky. Personal taste.

Some reason I think the PS3's controller is to light well the older PS3's the newer PS3's still to light. Like when I go pick up my Ps2 controller time to time it feels like I'm holding a feather, and it feels so not right because I need something heavy in my hands.

Car's yes but not save data. If someone did that in forza I can picture 3 ways people would make ALOT of money off 1 saved data.
