    Accessing invites to MCLA Camaro Club on PS HOME

    Post by JadeCat95 on Fri Apr 10, 2009 3:29 pm

    As of this writing, the following people have been sent invites which have not responded;

    AsHz593
    BLACK_BARON13 (will promote to Subleader once accepted)
    CReddy91
    andrewm0304
    chevycopo69
    iamjacksego
    jonezyUK (will promote to Subleader once accepted)

    To see and respond to your invite, follow these steps;

    Start HOME
    Access your menu by pushing the START button
    Scroll down to CLUBS
    Either push RIGHT on the D-PAD or push X
    Scroll down to MY INVITES

    The club name should be listed there. Select it and push X and respond to the invite.

    Once you have responded, you are a member of the Clubhouse. From this point on you can visit the Clubhouse at any time. This is different from accessing someones Studio Apartment or Summer House. For those you need an invitation from the owner. You do not need this invite for the Clubhouse, you can go there at any time by following these steps;

    Start HOME
    Access your menu by pushing the START button
    Scroll down to CLUBS
    Either push RIGHT on the D-PAD or push X
    Scroll to MY CLUBS
    Either push RIGHT on the D-PAD or push X
    This will bring up a list of CLUBS you are a member of (if you're a member of more than one club, scroll to MCLA CAMARO CLUB)
    Either push RIGHT on the D-PAD or push X
    Scroll to GO TO CLUBHOUSE and push X

    Regular members of the Clubhouse are free to stroll about at any time.

    Members will notice two corkboard message boards on either side of the room. Anyone can post messages, but please keep them decent. Messages can be set to last from 1 day to 28 days.

    Regular members do not have access to send invites ( I don't think ), so if you have someone you wish to invite, you must contact either myself, yatezy, baron or jonezy.

    I have arranged the furniture into group settings to accommodate casual mingling. The six chairs in front of the stage I intended to be used for club meetings and, in the future, to watch the TV screen. I can add more of these chairs if necessary. The four chairs on the stage are intended for use by the admins during club "meetings". I put four of them there purely because it looked better. Smile We, of course, don't have to use these for this purpose, I just wanted to give the place more a "club" feeling. It's more for appearance than anything else. This can also always be changed. I'm not sure, but I think anyone can rearrange the furniture. If you can, please check with a leader before doing so. Regular members CANNOT add furniture, so don't buy a piece of furniture if your only intention is to put it in the Clubhouse. You will have wasted your money. If there is a piece of furniture you would like to see added to the room, I guess you can contact either myself, yatezy, baron or jonezy and we'll see what happens.

    I added the barbecue grill to rear of the club per redice's request. Smile

    The TV screen at the front of the room is only for looks at this time. In the future, supposedly, we will be able to share videos on this screen. I'm not positive about how this works, but from what I gather, for example, if I have a movie downloaded onto my PS3, I can show this movie on the TV and everyone in the Clubhouse will be able to watch it. More on that as information becomes available.

    As of right now, I own the Clubhouse and yatezy, baron & jonezy are "Sub-leaders". But I wanted to say that as far as I'm concerned, even though I "own" the "building", this is OUR Clubhouse and everyone has a say in things like how it's furnished, how it's used etc. I'm pretty sure yatezy, baron and jonezy will feel the same way ( I hope Wink )

    So go check out our new hangout! Tell us what you think and if you have any suggestions, speak up.

    im happy in what ever me, clubhouse looks great and also feels great to have a place to chill with other clubs members when waitin to cruise..

    as for moving stuff, i cant so ( as i tryed lol ) im geussin only the owner can do them sort of stuff.. but admins can write on the boards as i have done, so please check on there an also follow the rules because there is members from the age of 12 and up.. as we all like 2 have a laugh when were on pshome, but please keep it outside of the club if its going to have the followin stuff... what someone looks like, spellings in there words, or just the generel stuff or even using the glitches 2 dance on the chairs and stuff... warnings will be given on the forum for what happens in the clubhouse, even if its myself, jonezy or baron act up

    I stopped in this weekend and it looks great, love the message boards... wouldnt let me write anything, you must be the owner or something. Looks great though, no one home when i went but that will change when its meeting time.

    Really? I was sure that all members could post messages. Hmmm.

    Well, if regular members can't post messages, I'm sorry for the confusion. (I'm actually still learning new things every time I get on HOME)

    bk, as I've said before, I just "own the building", the admins here are still basically 'in charge' at the Clubhouse. I think I'm going to let them do the inviting from this point on, or at least do it on their instruction.
