Lastnight there was a few of us players that didn't even know each other just parked showing of our classic cars and this guy in a Cobra Con. comes bashing through. Then he gets offended when I flipped his car on its roof. I was going to take a photo of all the old cars but this guy tore everyones cars up. Then when I left to practice drag racing he followed me and kept bashing my cars. My thing is if you want to bash with someone let them know, its easy if you have a mic. Just suggest a mini demo between a group of people. I even thought about doing a demo derby for the club at the football field. Once you damage out, you must leave the arena and have a judge at each exit to keep an eye on everything. Have a photo shoot of everyone before the demo of everyones rides. I would like to keep the demo cars to the older cars. Let me know what you think of a Camaro Club sponsored Demo Derby at the Field.

Sounds like fun!!! Just post it up and set a date when your ready. Great idea MP!!! Let us know if you need any help with it.

Okay what would be a good night for this event since I know we have weekly drag racing. I am hoping to have atleast 10 cars to compete in the event. The one real rule for the event would be no NOS. I will be a designing my car just for this event if I have enough people interested. I plan on using a '55 Bel Air with no hop ups. Lets hear what everyone thinks and we could get this off the ground soon and maybe do it maybe once a month or so.

Thanks Crazy for your support since I am just a newbie or prospect as I see it.

I'm not the only one that will tell you that whether you are new or not you still have a voice in this club, you are a part of the club not just a prospect and if you want to do something like this, go for it, you don't need permission.

Okay I have choose to schedule the first Team Panther Motorsports BASHFEST '09 for Sept. 20,2009 at 10pm CST since I live in Kansas. No NOS will be allowed to be used for this event. Any of the Old School cars maybe used, no tuners or luxury cars. After you have a damaged out please remove yourself from the Stadium. I would like to have a five minute time limit to declare a winner. I also would like to have a pre show group photo if possible. If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to let me know. The reason for the time limit is I want everyone to go full throttle on the carnage and not take up alot of valuable time. Thanks.

You should post this in the race or cruise event part of the forum, otherwise not many members will see it in here and also will go off subject if people start posting about it to.

    Topic split

Post by RaceGameNut on Wed Sep 16, 2009 10:11 pm

Sorry MadPanther51, I had to split these posts away from the topic "enemy crew" and give it it's own title as it was getting off topic.

I am new to trying to plan something like this and I am learning from my mistakes. I apologize to anyone that may think I was using there ideas. I had no idea of any other members discussing this.

That's a Sunday night. The same time as the weekly street racing. Just wanted to give a heads up in case you didn't realize that. And since it's a Sunday, I probably won't be able to make it. Sad

The reason I have it on the same night is I am hoping to have a few people that take part in the Street/Drag racing stop by. Thats the reason for the 5 min. time limit. Correct me if I am wrong but isn't the races scheduled for 10 EST which is 9 o'clock here?Let me know and I can amend the start time if needed. Plus the reason for Sunday is because my daughter races go karts on Sat. Girl Scouts on Wednesday and my son's football on Tuesday and Thursday and its my birthday....lol
