This is a '55 Bel Air that I recently seen done on Pimp My Ride. Yes, it was girls car.




And this is my design of what I call an "all business" Z28
The idea was to keep some older style cues with a modern twist. I took the stripe and "Z28" from 80-81 but made it a solid, fading stripe. And I wanted to keep the signature hood/deck stripes, but narrowed them and brought them all the way to the front of the hood. The car started out charcoal and gold, then went to a bright blue. But they were both too "loud". I wanted a toned down, "mean" look, so I went with a darker red and then blacked out the wheels with a touch of body color. I really like how it turned out.

Both are sweet, But I want to go on record that I was already working on a silvergrey car with red striping before seeing yours............ But mine is a tuner.......

Not a fan of a pimped Bel-Air, But that Camaro is awesome! I love the red/silver effect it keeps it a mellow but "dont mess with me" profile.

As for the Bel-Air. Only thing I don't like is the rims. It's been awhile since I've seen Pimp my Ride. I used to like them when it first came out with West Coast Customs. Now they have something GAS right? Forgot.

@ DJ - I had to come as close on the rims as I could find. Those are fairly close, but the ovals are 45 degrees off.

@Baron - Thank you!! That's the look I was going for! And I know it looks silvery in the photo, it does online too, but it's supposed to be charcoal. It looks fine in the garage, but I'm gonna have to make it too dark in the garage to look right outside.

Jade, you done it again! Nice cars!!! I'm not a fan of pink at all but I like that '55 mainly because of how clean it looks with the candy paint and all. The Camaros great also!

WOW! Jade love both of them, I love how " clean" (as everyone is saying) 55 looks and how the Z28 looks. If I bought a real camaro, I'd ask if I could use your design.
