    DJLime's 3D Model's Thread

Post by DJ Lime on Sun Aug 16, 2009 12:00 pm

Well this is my little side of the world. I've been doing 3D model's for about 3 years now. I changed a lot when I first started. I mostly had to learn by myself, and press every button on this dang program to finally figure it out. It took me about 4-5 months to finally it get down then I took off like a rocket making stuff.

Now days I try help out some people with problems for this 3D program called Zmodeler. It's a nice free program you can model anything you want out of it. Like Cars/Buildings/Gun's/and the list gos on.

Here's a link to the site.

    Zmodeler Website click here

If you would like to try this I would get the v1.07 version because thats the free version, and everything works on it. The v2.2.1 version works but not everything works because you have to pay $60 to have the full version which I'm thinking about getting since I spend so much time on it.

    .

Here's some of my models I scratch made or made some stuff for it. But I mostly try to scratch make stuff now days.

    .

Here's my replica of my 2003 GMC Sonoma SLS. Been working on, and off on this to get it perfect. Then I might sell it for money What a Face

This was a 2 door 1993 Chevy S10 shortbed. I mostly almost scratch made this besides alittle of whats left on the roof.

Amazing what a Camera Phone can do lol

1 of my craziest builts I had. This was a 1987 Chevy s10 2 door But now made it a EXT cab with a complete 3d Airbags/Cantilever setup with a 3d motor which a friend let me use for this build. Complete 3d interior with a stereo system in the back. The list can go on but I'll stop here.

Here's a link up to download for a game I made it for. KC Vales (1987 S10 Lowrider)

This model was from Need For Speed Undercover which someone converted so I can work on it. The body was a mess until I fixed it up. I'm remaking the interior at the moment been taking me awhile to get it right, and still working on the dash (Needs a steering wheel) .Also the tire's are mine, and not the rim.

Now this 1 brings back memorys of around april 2008. I made 3 version of this hummer (Truck, wagon, and slant-back versions). When I got the hummer it was in so bad of shape I shouldn't of mess with it. But after it was done it is 1 of my favorite rides I ever made. Very Happy

Also have this up to Download for the same game. KC Vales Bummer Hummer (Truck)

Here's the 2 other version's you can look at the pictures there.

    KC Vales Bummer Hummer (Wagon)

    KC Vales Bummer Hummer (Slant-Back)

Here's a OLD picture of it but I sortof fixed it before I took the picture from what I remember.

O here's my second UTV I almost scratch made besides axles/and tires. It's a Arctic Cat Prowler 700 EFI

Can't say much about it because this is taking so long to type LOL....

    .

I made these rims for a 2009 Chevy Silverado I found on the internet. and had to give that truck a diet because it could of lag old computers to hell.

But I had to remake the headlights/rear bumper/hood/and doors on it. The bushguard is mine. But not the winch/rollbar lights/and snorkel.

    .

Just some tires I came up with when I was bored.

This rim was a request. Their American Racing Mojave Rims from someone on another site. Which I still havent seen them being used yet, and I made these back on September 03, 2008. What a shame.

Had to retake some pictures of this 1. A truck I made last year but I put new tires on it to take these pictures. Scratch made besides the tires thats on it.

This was what it looked like before.

    .

    .

I made a lot more stuff. But this froum be overloaded with stuff.

    .

    Here's some more.

    Here's the first 1.

1986 GMC Exo Crawler. The truck has been in the works for over a year. Since I keep remaking something when my skill gets better so it will never be done lol... Only things that isn't mine is alittle of the motor, front fender's, and part of the roof.

2010 Chevy Camaro (Model from NFS ProStreet)...... The body is nice but the interior is to low detail for me. 1 day I'll make it 3D. 1 day...

2009 Audi R8 (From NFS UnderCover) Had to make new headlights/rims/tires (To make it look like the 2010 Audi R10) Also the old stuff EA made looked like poop. (Blame EA!)

This was 1 of few cars I worked on this summer. Was turning this Ford Escort (From NFS ProStreet) into a racecar of my style. Sadly I stopped working on it after a week. (Made the rims/rollcage/seats/guages on top of the dash. (I didn't make the tires. It was from a friend of mine)

I really didn't do much when I got it. Had to fix some werid black dents on this Nissan 370z Also I had to retexture the hole car.

This car RGC might remember if he watched my youtube video of this car. It's a 2008 Rolls Royce Phantom. It was in very bad shape, and had to make a interior for it. Also had 2 versions of this car.

    DJK Edition Rolls Royce Phantom

    Color Changible Rolls Royce Phantom

    (Rolls Royce Phantom Youtube Video.)

Christ dude, you could be a graphics designer for future car's that companies want. Hell R*'s noob asses should be hiring you to do the work they're too lazy too! (I'v noticed the body line on the trunk is more heavily curved on the drivers side than the passenger side of the 70 Challenger) That stuff looks like a pain in the ass to do unless you'v got a lot of patience.

I'm hopeing to do a job like that for a living. But I don't want to move. So I hope that I could like work at home type deal. Since I checked all the gaming company's thats doing good, and none of them is near Missouri.

If you do I have some requests.

Buick is nothing but an old fart car company now. They don't make anything even slightly performance wise. I wanna see that 455 causing hell, and a few of my friends who are heavy Buick fans would enjoy the come-back

If you ever do some streetracing games

FOR THE LOVE OF $&$@#%^$# GOD STREET RODS!!! IM TIRED OF BEING LEFT OUT >=[ I wanna be able to slam a 49 Merc throw a 502 in it with a matte black finish and gloss black/gray pinstriping with blacked out moonwheels and cause some hell. Or a 33 Plymouth with a flathead or a wedge HEMI, or a 672 chop the top, leaned to the front a little, black/white/red leather interior or just aircraft billet bucket seats with holes cut in them with the extra tall shifter that comes up to the window with a real 8 ball drilled out and stuck on the shifter knob sometimes cut the roof out for a sunroof with a black tarp you roll over it. coker whitewalls or redlines on moonwheels, or just straight up plain rally wheels. Maybe just smash the inners of the rounded headlights at the front at an angle and give it that pissed off rat rod look. Yeahh that'd be so amazing. God I'd love you man. I'm so sick of people asking why the hell my 55 bel-airs look the way they do. the word "kustom kulture" means nothing to these idiots unless that dead jackass boyd cottington makes a silly easter egg painted fiberglass street rod with a whored out 350 and horrible "stylish" rims on really huge slicks that bog the engine out .

It's not just about car's either, let's see some nice old Indian Chief's with white walls in a primer gray with red scallops coming off the fedners/gas tanks with white outer edges or something.

It's a way of life that's being ignored, and it really irritates me no game's included awesome car's like that. But NOOOO making freaking t.v. shows you watch ON a freaking t.v. of a safe house IS OH SO MORE IMPORTANT than updating your freaking servers. Hey R*why dont you tools takes a tip from Forza. You cant put $@%& loads of vinyls all over one car and still race it online with others the same in a more detailed environment with more realistic crashes. I think it'd be cool to see a hangout at LA filled with guys wearing turtle shell cap's, with matching club logo shirts, or guy's with pomps wearing their leather jacekt with their club names on the back like "LUCKY 13'S " "LONE WOLVES" "STREET BARONS" (Don't even try and take that one you foo's I'v alreasy made my logo for that >=O) And have a street rod part of the game where you have to use certain car's for that too, and beat the club bosses and win his pink slips, or if you bail on the race after you loss, you'll be cruising around LA and a couple of his buddies smash your car up when you come load MC garage again, haha. (It'd be an easy fix like it always does but just to see it done with spraypainted on your car "CHICKEN%^$#" with all the body panels batted/axxed/drain pipe smashed in would be hilarious lol)

Yeah you jackasses make the LA scene without the kustom kulture while you add the lowrider side. Brilliant guy's. I'd love to see those asshats make NY without the NYC Rumblers involved. That won't ever fly. http://www.rumblersnyc.com/ btw

If it werent for us %*&#%@ greasers you wouldnt SEE the introduction of muscle car's because Frankie's in his shop toying with a rust bucket seeing what new types of performance mods do what. The mid 40's to 50's were the most experimented with on car modifictions because we didnt know crap, and rat rods had a big name. So because of a bunch of rockabilly fools and their ugly POS car's with only the care to the engine, you see what the Corvette and Camaro has become. Belive that not if you wish, but tell me what other root's you can name besides what Ferrari was screwing around with. Theres a big difference. Those guy's worried about more pistons = more power. Us greasers tried to get the most out of a bent 8 (V8) that we could. Not cram more pistons under the hood and say were badass because we got pretty little body lines and a %&%$#!& red paint job.

And because we have morons who would try and donk out a 34 Ford or put hydraulics on it, a wheel size limit for the front would be set. maybe the rear too, would be enabled while the hydraulics disabled. (Seriously it's not even stylish to do that to a car like that no matter how you paint it/chrome it out)

    Alright I'm calm now..

And if you mess around with some MOPAR's, unlike every other game that whores the cuda/challenger/charger and sometimes the roadrunner. Add something like one of the dart's, demons, dusters, superbirds/daytonas. The dart's are magneficient drag car's, I'll tell you that much. A little 71 with a tuned up 440 isn't a joke in the 1/4th

I was seriously born way too late.

But the reason I'm so pissed off, is because everyone criticisez something they don't know $@#& about, and I'v literally only seen 2 kustoms my entire time here. I can't really complain from where I live now =X
I think I might post an off topic explanation of what a "Gasser" was and the whole technical aspect/history behind the car's I'll just dig something up from HOT ROD Magazines archive... I'm really tired of my car being called ugly because it's jacked up in the front so much. ITS NOT SUPPOSED TO LOOK AWESOME. It's supposed to be effective.

To simply tell anyone whois reading this. In the 50's, it was for weight transfer. That's a good simple definition.

Seen that on few car froum's I've been on when someone is full of it. (Even 1 topic was about gasser's) I've seen my fair share with gasser's here. Since there's a drag strip about 30 minutes from here (Gateway Speedway) same place where nascar is, and I see atleast 1 gasser on a trailer heading that way every weekend. Sometimes the same car.
