    JR Motorsports (Dale Jr.) Special Edition Camaro

    At the request of a fellow member (hawkseye05), I made a JR Motorsports Camaro. This turned out to be much more of a challenge that I expected. I thought it would be just a couple layers of vinyls...black on top of red. This was true for the most part, except for the hood (bonnet for tez & joneszy LOL). There I had to piece together the black. It took me way longer to do than I thought it would. Smile (I had to use that front bumper to get the front air dam)

    Yeah,

    I saw that car when I was looking for design ideas and like you said, it just didn't look challenging enough or quite interesting enough so I passed over it but great job!!! I can't see it all that well but that's typical with the lighting on MCLA. I spent about a half an hour trying to perfect that wierd orange on the "Foose" Camaro and have it pretty much dead on. But in the pictures it just doesn't look right. Oh well. I'll look at your webshots account again to see if I can see more pics of it.

    Oh, by the way, thanks for the PM reply. I'll do that tomorrow morning. Very Happy

    So I went and checked out your webshots page to get better pics of the JR car but couldn't find any others but I was able to see it a little bigger and I really like it! Great Job! I also looked through all of your car creations and was blown away with how many great cars you've created!!! cheers I am somewhat jealous in the fact I feel like I possess a similar talent but wasted so much time playing the game in story mode. You've definitely inspired me to do more car design/creation!

    I'm in the process of creating a couple more Camaros and lovin' it! Very Happy Check out my photobucket slideshow link at the end of my sig if you want to see the progress of filling my garage with unique Camaros. For example, I've already created the famous DE Jr. '72 Camaro (with the '69), going to recreate the '69 Baldwin Motion 427 Camaro, am doing that famous Sunuco #6 (new Camaro) race car today, and am going to do the Falken racing '69 Camaro drift car also among many other famous or created Camaros. I guess you could say the Camaro Club inspired a mission.

    Thanks, I was really quite amazed how many amazing cars you have created. I realized that after looking at my slideshow again that the Jr. '72 remake looks almost like the foose camaro now so since you did one in yellow, I had to get creative! I did it in Purple (main) and dark silver. I'll change the Photobucket slideshow soon to update it.

    Yeah, the club and you have really inspired me to completely fill one of my garages with unique Camaros. It's even brought me to a point of enjoying the '69 again. I've had kind of a vendetta against the '69 for so long but not so much after owning about 10 of them on the game LOL! Laughing

    I guess I better take that red slash mark off of the '69 on the bakc of my BM '70 SS454 remake. Rolling Eyes

    Jade, I think I know exactly what rims those are in the real picture, and I believe they are in the game .They look just like the ones Bumble Bee has in the new Transformers movie, too.

    You do know the F-Bomb Camaro is also owned by Dale Jr, right? It was in Fast and Furios? Saved the day? Just go make that on a 69, lol.

    That was one of my ideas for one of my project to fill one garage with Camaros. Oh well maybe I'll do it anyway. After all it is a early second gen Smile

    I should have known that someone here has already done it. I did the famous Jr. '72 (see slideshow in sig) but I didn't know that the Fbomb was his also. I think I saw something about it being up for sale now.
