1992 Eagle Talon TSI AWD Turbo 5 Speed
This 92 TSI is completely redone, front to rear. It is the sought after6 bolt 4 bolt combo. It also is a 5 speed which is what every DSMenthusiast wants. Also the car is equiped with an Eprom ECU, soinstalling DSM Link or other chip is simple as installing a socket andplugging in your chip. You won't find a nicer stock TSI anywhere. Greatpains were taken to be sure that this car is road ready. Everythingworks. No disappointments!
116,XXX miles on car. Less than 300 miles on drivetrain and paint!
6 bolt engine has been rebuilt. Bored .020" o/s, new pistons,rings, and all new timing components. Turbo has been checked and is ingreat condition.
Transmission is completely rebuilt with all new bearings, snycros,and seals using TRE parts. Input and intermediate shafts assembled byTRE. All gears and shafts were also shot peaned and destressed.
Rear end is the desireable 4 bolt LSD (limited slip). It has beendisassembled, cleaned, checked, and reassembled, resetting preload andgear backspacing.
The car was repainted from the plastics up because the clearcoatwas burned off on all the upper surfaces. The typical rust on thecorners of the front fenders was cut out and new metal welded in. Noholes in rear fenderwells. The whole car was wetsanded and buffed. Theroof and b-pillars were painted with a custom black pearl metallic.It's a head turner!
The interior is tan leather which is in great shape for the year of the car.
The odometer is reading 116,000 miles.
The car does not look or drive like a car that is 18 years old. Itmust be seen to be appreciated. A lot of blood, sweat, and tears havebeen spent to ensure that this Talon is up to par. Even the mostdiscerning of enthusiasts will give a thumbs up!.
