Sony releasing titanium blue PS3 bundle for Gran Turismo 5 launch

Post by DJ Lime on Tue Sep 07, 2010 12:54 am

ZOMG!! Looks sooooooo beautiful. I love blue but when I seen this today I would love to get my hands on it but 1 problem..... As of right now its going to be in Japan only but it isn't offical yet. Going to run at $421 that is with the limited edition Gran Turismo 5. I'm going to keep my eyes on this thing if its going to have a US date. evil

    .

You can tell when Sony believes a game is a system seller because it actually produces a new system to sell alongside the release of the game.

It should come as no surprise that Sony is doing this for Gran Turismo 5. On release day, you will not only be able to buy the game, but a special edition titanium blue version of the PS3 in Japan. The console/game bundle will include the following:

    160GB PS3 in titanium blue
DualShock 3 controller also in titanium blue
    Gran Turismo 5 game
Collectible 308-page Gran Turismo 5 book

5 downloadable cars (all in black) for use in-game including:
    Audi R10 TDI Stealth Model
    Honda NSX GT500 Stealth Model
    McLaren F1 Stealth Model
    Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Stealth Model
    Nissan GT-R GT500 Stealth Model
At the moment it looks as though this is going to be a Japan-only bundle, but we can cross our fingers Sony decides to bring it West.

The special edition pack will be available on November 3rd for $421.

Don't know how many or how long as of yet. But IF there is a US date I'm getting it. Just happen to stubble upon this looking at the PS3 consoles again. Because parents finally said I can go out, and buy 1. BUT right when they said that 2 days ago I run across this.

I like blue also, but I don't like it on PS3. Neutral

Wowo never really paid attention to the ps2 difference. My old ps2 looks like a brick next to the slim LOL.
